Mr. Virender Singh Kanwar, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Learned counsel for the respondents-Board has produced copies of communications dated 31.03.2026 and 19.03.2026, issued by Sr. Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, HPSEBL, Keylong, District Lahaul & Spiti. The same are taken on record. 3. A perusal of communication dated 19.03.2026 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 reveals that the petitioner has been paid an amount of ₹16,10,138/-, towards gratuity and leave encashment, vide cheque no. 238401 dated 18.03.2026. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute this factum, however, he submits that the interest has not been paid on the said amount. Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the respondents assures this Court that the interest on the amount of gratuity and leave encashment shall be released in favour of the petitioner within eight weeks from today. 5. In view of the assurance given by the learned counsel for the respondents, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and the same is accordingly disposed of. However, it is made clear that in case the petitioner is not paid the interest on the aforesaid components within eight weeks from today, he shall be at liberty to file an application for revival of the present execution petition.
