Mr. Ratul Deb Banerjee … for the petitioner Mr. Debanjan Mukherjee … for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against a separate electricity connection. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite making statutory payments and notwithstanding the representation dated 26 August, 2025 WBSDEDCL has taken no steps in the matter. On behalf of WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they had attempted to provide a separate electricity connection but there is a serious law and order situation which has been raised by the respondent no. 6 and her husband, who have not been impleaded as party respondent in the writ petition. In view of the above, WPA 25500 stands disposed of by directing WBSEDCL to communicate the petitioner the reasons in writing as to why the electricity connection at the subject premises has not yet been provided. The above 2 exercise is to be completed within two weeks from the date of communication of this order. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
