The present writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not releasing the 1st bill of an amount of Rs.19,41,826/- in respect of the contract work executed by the petitioner, namely “Laying of WBM Road at RDT Colony Main Road and Internal Roads of Kallurupalli Housing Board Colony, Division No.25,” though the work was completed by the petitioner long back within the stipulated time. 2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for Municipal Administration and Urban Development submits that the payment due to the petitioner has already been released. In view of the same, the grievance of the petitioner no longer survives for consideration and, therefore, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition. 3. Recording the said submission and in view of the fact that the amount due to the petitioner has already been paid, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
