17.02.2026 Court No.28 Item No.32 tbsr Reject CRM (A) 184 of 2026 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Burwan P.S. Case No.301 of 2025 dated 02.07.2025 under Sections 85/109/89/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. And In the matter of: Babu Lal Sk. ….Petitioner. Mr. Kallol Kumar Basu Md. Jannat Ul Firdous Mr. Rajsekhar Hota …for the petitioner. Mr. Binoy Kumar Panda, ld PP Ms. Kanchan Roy …..for the State. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The de facto complainant is the wife of the present petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She relies on the statements of witnesses and the medical documents. She submits that a statement of the owner of the diagnostic centre has been recorded by the Investigating Officer. Accordingly to him, he had given an injection to the victim as per instruction of the present petitioner. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. 2 Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
