Injamamul Islam, ….for the petitioners Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks a direction for consideration of the petitioner’s representation before the Panchayat Authority regarding installation of a drainage system to facilitate percolation of wastewater from his premises into a nearby canal. It is submitted that, despite several representations, no steps have been taken by the Panchayat Authority for installation of the said drainage system. None appears on behalf of the respondents when the matter is called on for hearing. Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept on record. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Pradhan, Brindabanpur–III Gram Panchayat (respondent no. 7), to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representation in accordance with law, by passing a 2 reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order. Accordingly W.P.A. 8505 of 2025 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. The Photostat copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on an urgent basis.
