Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioners have, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “i) Issue a writ of certiorari to quash Annexure P-9 i.e. office order dated 21-06-2024 in the interest of justice. ii) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to give appointment to the petitioners by completing the process of recruitment by declaring the result of counseling and completing all codal formalities within 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:13347 time bound manner.” 2. The Court stands informed that the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court in LPA No. 194 of 2023, titled State of Himachal Pradesh and others Vs. Yog Raj and others, Announced on 09.01.2026, along-with other connected matters, has been pleased to set aside the judgment passed by the learned Single Judge, in favour of persons similarly situated as the petitioners. 3. In light of this development, as now the petitioners cannot be granted the reliefs being prayed for, the petition is dismissed, in light of the findings returned by the Hon’ble Division Bench in LPA No. 194 of 2023, titled State of Himachal Pradesh and others Vs. Yog Raj and others, Announced on 09.01.2026, along-with other connected matters. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
