This is an application under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 challenging the order dated 25.02.2026 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Nagaon in Khatowal Case No.44/2025. 3. Mf. Ahmed has relied upon an SOP issued by the Addln. Director General of Police, CID, Assam for disposal of the seized betel nuts. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. With this SOP the petitioner is directed to approach the trial court praying for a fresh order regarding the seized betel nuts. With the aforesaid direction, the Criminal Petition stands disposed of.
