The present petition has been registered pursuant to a communication received from the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, South District, Saket Courts. It is stated that the subject case, i.e., FIR No. 893/2018 registered at Police Station Mehrauli, involves offences under Sections 489B and 489C of the IPC, which are scheduled offences under the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 [“NIA Act”]. 2. It has, therefore, been submitted that the proceedings are required to be transferred to the Special Court for NIA matters in the New Delhi District at Patiala House Courts. 3. Mr. Abhishek, learned counsel for the respondent, submits that he has no objection to the transfer, as the offences concerned are scheduled offences under the NIA Act. 4. The transfer petition is accordingly disposed of with the direction that the proceedings arising out of FIR No. 893/2018 at Police Station This is a digitally signed order.
