For Petitioner : M/s.Srikanth for M/s.K.Ilayaraja ORDER The present petition has been filed by the respondent in S.T.C.No.200 of 2026, on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruchuli, seeking transfer of the case to any other competent Judicial Magistrate Court at Madurai. 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is facing several cases at the instance of one T.Muthuramalingam, who is an Advocate practicing at the Thiruchuli Bar. According to him, he has set up the present complainant to file the cheque case. He further submits that the Advocates from Thiruchuli Bar are reluctant to appear as against T.Mutharamalingam. He further submits that T.Mutharamalingam, threatens the Advocates who appears on behalf of the petitioner herein. Therefore, he seeks transfer. 3. I have considered the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record. 4. There is nothing on record to show that the complainant is in any way connected with the counsel who is referred to in the complaint. The petitioner has not lodged any complaint before the concerned Police Station or the Judicial Officer with regard to the threat faced by herself or by her counsel. In such circumstances, this Court is of the considered opinion that there are no materials whatsoever, before this Court to order transfer of the case from the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruchuli, to any other Court at Madurai. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 5. In such view of the matter, in case if the petitioner or her counsel faces any threat, it is upto them to lodge a complaint before the Presiding Officer of the said Court. 6. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
