According to the petitioner, the subject property was gifted to him by his father under a Gift Deed dated 30.05.1997. Subsequently, respondents 4 to 7 attempted to interfere with the possession of the petitioner. Hence, a civil suit was filed by the petitioner in O.S.No.44 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Nanguneri and the same was decreed. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an application before the respondents on 28.04.2026 in Application No.2026/N123/29/000371, seeking a survey of the subject property. Mrs.Porkodi Karnan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 1 and 2, submits that the petitioner's application will be considered in accordance with the law. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 28.04.2026 and pass final orders on the same on its own merits within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, respondents 4 to 7, and other interested parties. 5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
