Mr.Fakkir Mohideen, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent. 3. It is the case of the petitioners that, the Muthavallis who were administering the M.A.Namazie endowment were removed from the their positions after due enquiry, due to their mismanagement and irregularities in the administration which was published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette on 20.05.2025. Subsequently, the respondent had appointed an executive officer to administer the M.A Namazie Endowment. As there is no Muthavalli, as on date, for the Endowment so as to manage its affairs, the petitioners being the descendants of the founder of the Endowment, had submitted a representation dated 20.08.2025 to the respondent seeking to appoint them as Muthavallis to the endowment. However, till date, the said representation has not been considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 20.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. 5. In view of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 20.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties. 7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
