Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner stood retired from service on 31.12.2022, however, entire retiral benefits have not been paid to him on the ground that one departmental enquiry is pending consideration against him. He contended that the departmental enquiry is pending consideration since 2022 since last more than 3 years and therefore petitioner had submitted representation dated 23.09.2025 vide Annex. P-15 before Respondent No. 1 on account of subsequent development took place ie., disposal of writ petition filed by one Shriram in WPS No. 3210/2022. Representation submitted by petitioner till date has not been considered and decided and therefore at this stage petitioner is seeking direction to Respondent No. 1 to take decision on the pending representation at the earliest. 3. Learned State counsel submits that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and only seeking direction to Respondent No. 1 to take decision on the pending representation, she is having no objection. If representation submitted by petitioner is pending consideration, it will be considered in accordance with law. 4. On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, without entering into merits of the claim of petitioner, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage directing Respondent No. 1 to take decision on the representation of petitioner dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P-15) in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 02 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 5.
