The petitioner has raised a grievance against respondent No.4, a Police Officer, alleging that the said Police Officer assaulted the petitioner and subjected him to harassment, intimidation and coercion. 3. Since the grievance raised by the petitioner is against a Police Officer, learned counsel for the petitioner, upon instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to avail the alternate remedy by approaching the State Police Complaints Authority duly constituted under Section 22P of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951. 4.
