For Petitioner : Mr.S.Samuel James Devasagayam For Respondents : Mr.C.Deepak Additional Government Pleader 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.22987 of 2026 ORDER The writ petition is filed seeking direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2026 for issuance of individual patta in his name in respect of property measuring 3.75 cents with house Door No.7/37-E5, situated at Srinivasapuram, Kodaikanal in Town S.No.T.S.21, Ward D, Block No.20, Kodaikanal Taluk, within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Samuel James Devasagayam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Deepak, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by him from one Mariandoss in the year 2011. Inspite of several representations to the official respondents, patta has not been issued in his name. Hence, he submitted representation to the second respondent on 26.06.2026. However, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.22987 of 2026 4.Mr.C,Deepak, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2026 would be considered in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court. 5.In the light of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2026 and pass final order on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
