The petitioner with a grievance that the retirement benefits due to this petitioner have not been settled by the respondents, has filed this writ petition. 2.This court by its order dated 06.08.2026 vide WMP(MD)No.16721 of 2026 impleaded the 5th respondent Head Master of the 4th respondent school as a party to this writ petition. 2/5 WP(MD)No.21682 of 2026 3.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader by referring to the proceedings dated 05.08.2026 submits that there is a dispute in the management and the school is under direct payment from 04.06.2026. Therefore, the District Educational Officer, Sivakasi/ 2nd respondent by her proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2605/A4/2026, dated 05.08.2026 has made necessary recommendation to the Director of School Education Department / 1st respondent for granting approval for disbursement of retirement benefits and other related benefits to the petitioner. 4.Since the grievance of the petitioner on the disbursement of retirement benefits has already been addressed by the 2nd respondent vide aforementioned proposal, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the 1st respondent to take a decision on the proposal made by the 2nd respondent dated 05.08.2026 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and ensure that the employees who retire from service are getting the benefits without any delay.
