The petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondent- Circle Officer, Namkum, Ranchi to accept rent and issue rent receipt in relation to sub-plot no. 9 of Plot No. 1126 of Khata No. 50 situated at village Tetartoli, PO and PS Namkum, Thana No. 214, District Ranchi measuring 3017 sq. ft. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the petitioner had purchased the land and got the same mutated and paid rent till 2015 but after 2015 the respondents have stopped taking rent. He submits that name of the vender of the petitioner is reflected in the Register-II maintained by the respondents, thus the respondents are bound to accept the rent from him. 4. Considering the aforesaid submission, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if the petitioner files an appropriate application before the Circle Officer, Namkum, Ranchi, his case will be considered and an appropriate order will be passed. 2026:JHHC:10566 2 5. Considering the said submission, I direct the petitioner to approach the Circle Officer, Namkum, Ranchi along with the copy of the this order within four weeks. The Circle Officer is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner within six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order of this Court. 6. If it is found that there is no other impediment in accepting the rent, the same will be accepted and the rent receipt will be issued within two weeks thereafter. 7. If the respondents for any reason rejects the claim of the petitioner or refused to accept rent, he will passed reasoned/detailed order after hearing the petitioner.
