(2) By means of this writ petition, petitioner has challenged seniority list, issued by Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation on 1.7.2023. In that seniority list, petitioner’s name is placed at serial no. 7. Petitioner had contended that his name ought to have been placed at serial no. 3 in that list and, therefore, determination of inter-se seniority is erroneous. (3) Mr. Lalit Samant, learned Counsel appearing for the employer (Uttarakhand Transport Corporation), submits that the competent authority is revisiting the issue of inter-se seniority of employees and the grievance of the petitioner would be redressed upon such redetermination. He submits that petitioner has made a representation to the Managing Director on 18.7.2023, therefore the same shall be considered and decided, as per law, as early as possible. (4) In view of the statement made by Mr. Lalit Samant, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the Managing Director to revisit the issue of seniority and to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
