The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of Respondents in not considering the appeal, dated 13.07.2017 filed by the Petitioner against the proceedings issued in Estt/G.Ramudu/2017- 18, dated 15.05.2017, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner is working as a Manager in Anantapur District Cooperative Central Bank Limited. While so, in the year-2016, a departmental enquiry was initiated against the Petitioner and pursuant to the enquiry, the Petitioner was imposed a penalty of “stoppage of three increments with cumulative effect” vide orders, dated 15.05.2017 by the Respondent No.4/CEO. Questioning the same, the Petitioner filed an appeal as per the service regulations before the chairperson, Anantapur District Cooperative Central Bank Limited on 13.07.2017. Later, the Petitioner retired from his service on 31.12.2021 and no further action was taken with regard to the appeal and the same is said to be pending as on date. Hence, the Writ Petition came to be filed. 3. Heard the counsels. 4 4. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions:- (i) The Appellate Authority i.e., Chairperson of Anantapur District Cooperative Central Bank Limited is directed to examine the appeal, dated 13.07.2017 filed by the Petitioner and to dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (ii) No order as to costs. 5.
