Sarma, learned Addl. P.P., Assam for the State respondent. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Mridu Pawan Medhi who is Page No.# 2/2 apprehending arrest in connection with the Abhayapuri P.S. Case No. 149/2025, under Sections 296/131/115(2)/118(2)(1)/351 of the BNS, 2023. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Sarma, the learned Addl. P.P., Assam on instruction, submitted that the police after completion of investigation has already submitted the charge-sheet vide Charge-Sheet No. 136/2025, dated 29.07.2025. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court below for his regular bail in said Abhayapuri P.S. Case No. 149/2025. The interim bail, granted to the present petitioner may be extended for another fifteen (15) days, enabling him to appear before the learned Trial Court below, with a regular bail application.
