No.82 of 2026: Civil Suit filed under Order IV Rule 1 of O.S. Rules, 1956, read with Order VII Rule 1 of Civil Procedure Code, 1908, praying for the following directions: i) Directing the Resolution in Annexure -B passed by the 7th Defendant in its XVI Annual Multiple District Convention on 12.04.2025 and 13.042025 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam and its consequential resolutions as null and void , non-est and contrary to the provisions of the Bye-Laws of the 7th Defendant. ii) Permanent injunction restraining the Defendants from giving effect to or acting upon Resolution in Annexure-B passed by the 7th Defendant in its XVI Annual Multiple District Convention on 12.04.2025 and 13.04.2025 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam. iii) Declaring the District special convention conducted on 26.12.2025 for electing the First Vice District Governor and Second Vice District Governor of Sub District 3241 J for the year 2026-2027 and the election held in pursuant thereto as null and void and consequently declare that all acts, decisions, proceedings, communications, and actions undertaken by the persons so elected in their said official capacity in pursuant to the said election as illegal , void ab initio and does not binds any members of Lions Club. iv) Directing the Defendants to pay the costs of the suit. No costs.
