Learned Sr. Counsel appearing for the Petitioner contended that the impugned order of promotion so issued on 24.12.2025 under Annexure-6 is not more sustainable in view of the judgment delivered by this Court on 22.1.2026 in W.P.(C ) No.7674 of 2025 and batch. It is accordingly contended that the impugned order is required to be quashed by this Court. 4. Mr. S.P. Das, learned Addl. Standing Counsel on the other hand contended that if the order of promotion so issued under Annexure-6 is no more sustainable, in view of the judgment delivered in W.P.(C) No.7674 of 2025 and batch, let the Petitioner approach the authority for doing the needful. Having heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and considering the submission made, this Court while disposing the Writ Petition permits the Petitioner to move Opp. party No.2 to take a decision with regard to the claim made in the Writ Petition, taking into account the judgment passed by this Court on 22.01.2026 in WP (C) No.7674 of 2025 and batch within a period of 2(two) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 6.
