ASHOK RAM V The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in implementation of the order passed by this Court on 24.07.2023 in W.P.No.16580 of 2023. 2. The petitioners have filed the aforesaid writ petition aggrieved by the action of the respondent authorities in not releasing the payments for completing the works undertaken vide agreement dated 30.12.2021 for an amount of Rs.4,59,98,338/-. This Court, on 24.07.2023, passed the following order: “…since the bill amount claimed by the petitioners is an admitted bill, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to release amount of Rs.4,59,98,338/- to the petitioners within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.” 3. Heard Sri. Kale Vijaya Raju, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri. Ashok Ram V, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 3/contemnors, Ms. Nischala Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.2/contemnor. 4. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents/contemnors furnished a copy of letter bearing No.CC.No.6303 of 2023/E.E.(R&B)Kvl./A2/26-27, dated 17.07.2026 addressed by the 3rd respondent wherein it is stated that subject amounts were paid to the petitioners vide NIDHI No.2024-9023034 and CFMS bill 4 NO.2024-1444546 on 14.10.2024 vide RBI ref.No.RBI2892468404929. The said fact was also admitted by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Recording the same, the contempt case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
