JUSTICE MITALI THAKURIA ORDER 12-03-2026 Heard Mr. M. A. Islam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K. K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. A report has been received from the concerned Police Station, wherein it is reported that only the Noonmati P.S. Case No. 198/2025 is registered against the present petitioner, but there is no other case is pending or registered against the Page No.# 2/2 present petitioner. In that context, Mr. Islam, learned counsel submitted that in said Noonmati P.S. Case No. 198/2025, the petitioner was granted with pre-arrest bail vide order dated 22.01.2026, passed in AB No. 2638/2025. In view of above, it is seen that subsequent to Noonmati P.S. Case No. 198/2025, no other case has been registered in the concerned Police Station. In view of above, the present application stands disposed of. The interim order passed earlier on 29.01.2026 in the present petitioner is hereby stands vacated/recalled. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum, in the event any case is registered against him. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
