The petitioner has come before this Court seeking condonation of the delay of 44 days in filing the appeal against the judgment dated 24.04.2026 passed in Spl.S.C.No.365 of 2023 on the file of the learned Mahila Fast Track Court, Dindigul.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner/appellant had been incarcerated for the past three months and, therefore, was not in a position to give appropriate instructions to his counsel for filing the appeal. Apart from the same, he was also facing certain financial difficulties in filing the appeal. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), appearing for the respondents, has no serious objection to allowing this petition. 4.Therefore, this Court is inclined to condone the delay of 44 days in filing the appeal. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the delay of 44 days is condoned. 1/3 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
