Mr. Ankit Kumar, AC to SC-I. ------- 02/13.04.2026: In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to decide the case No. 463 of 2013 expeditiously, which was filed before the Court of learned S.D.M., Giridih for proceeding under Section 144 Cr.P.C, which has been converted into proceeding under Section 145 Cr.P.C. It is the grievance of the petitioner that a proceeding under Section 145 Cr.P.C. is still pending. The counsel for the State submits that the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Giridih has assured that the same will be concluded within a month from the date of filing of the counter affidavit. Considering the aforesaid submission, I direct the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Giridih to conclude the proceeding initiated under Section 145 Cr.P.C, if not concluded, within a month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
