This Court, in W.P.No.13992 of 2023 passed the following order on 03.07.2023: “…this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release total amount of Rs.17,50,127/- to the petitioner, as admitted in the letter dated 16.06.2023 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to agitate his claim for interest, if any, payable by the respondents, in an appropriate forum….” 3. Heard learned counsel on either side. 4. Today when the writ petition came up for hearing, learned counsel for the contemnors furnished a copy of the letter addressed by the 2nd respondent dated 17.07.2026 wherein it is stated that an amount of Rs.17,50,127.16/- payable to the petitioner was paid on 30.03.2025 vide CFMS token No.2024-160741. The said fact was also admitted by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Recording the same, the contempt case is closed.
