ORDER Mr.R.Parthiban, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 11. M/s. Madhuri Dhonti Reddy, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the third respondent. Mr.P.Vetrivel, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), takes notice for the respondents 10 and 12. 2. This Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 11, learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 10 and 12, after dispensing the notice on the respondents 6, 7 and 13, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against them. 3. The petitioner is before this Court seeking balance compensation of Rs.11.5/- lakhs each on account of the death of the petitioner's father and mother, who died tragically in a fire accident that taken place on 19.04.2026 in the firecracker unit of the 13th respondent, in terms of the order passed in O.A. 11.07.2025. 4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9 & 11, on the other hand, would submit that the orders referred to by the learned counsel for the petitioner is pertaining to an issue arising out of an accident that took place in Mariyammal Fireworks Factory, at Achankulam Village, Virudhunagar District, on 12.02.2021, and that the National Green Tribunal had passed an order in O.A. No.44 of 2021 based on the report of the Fact Finding Committee. 5. It is submitted that the petitioner has already received a part of the compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- each, as relief from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and Rs.3,50,000/- each from the Fire Factory Owners Association. 5/9 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

It is further submitted that there has been no adjudication insofar as the accident that taken place on 19.04.2026 either before any Tribunal or any other Court by the petitioner to claim compensation of Rs.11.5 lakhs each. Hence, the request of the petitioner can be considered and disposed of by the first respondent. 7. Having considered the attendant facts and circumstances of the case leading to the death of 27 persons and injuries to 26 persons in the fire accident that occurred on 19.04.2026 in the firecracker unit of the 13th respondent, and recording the aforesaid submissions, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner’s reprsentation dated 15.07.2026 and to pass appropriate orders in line with the orders passed by the National Green Tribunal in O.A. No.44 of 2021 (PB), National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, dated 28.04.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6/9 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
