ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct procession by carrying 80 feet length x 5 feet breath National Flag from Vasudevanallur Old Bus stand to New bus stand or from Arthanareeswarar temple to Vasudevanallur New bus stand from 04.00p.m, to 06.00p.m,. on the eve of Independence Day on 15.08.2026 by considering the representations dated 08.08.2026 and 11.08.2026.
2. Ms.V.Moushica, learned Government (Crl.Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the second respondnet has passed an
order dated 12.08.2026, rejecting permission for procession referring to a circular issued by the District Collector, Tenkasi, dated 18.09.2025. However, he would submit that the petitioner may be permitted to conduct procession from Arthanatheswarar temple to Vasudevanallur New Bus stand. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. Considering the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the second respondent is directed to issue necessary orders in this regard for conducting procession from Arthanareeswarar temple to Vasudevanallur New bus stand, by imposing necessary conditions.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
