ORDER The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the official respondents to delete the names of R5 to R10 in Patta No.508 and issue joint patta in favour of the petitioner and his brother Krishnan for the properties comprised in old S.No.115A/20, 115A/3B and New S.No.289/22, 290/29 to an extent of 1 are and 2.35 ares of Pillayarpatti Village, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025 within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian,
learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the private respondents, notice to them is dispensed with. W.P(MD)No.22979 of 2026 3.It is the case of the petitioner that her grandfather purchased the subject property in the year 1969 and after his death, the same was inherited by the petitioner and her brother, Krishnan. However, the names of the private respondents have been wrongly entered in the revenue records. Hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 09.06.2025 seeking deletion of the names of the private respondents from the revenue records. The same has not been considered so far by the official respondents. Hence, he has come before this Court. 4.Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 5.In the light of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner's dated 09.06.2025 and pass final order on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, her brother Krishnan, private respondents and other interested parties, if any. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
