The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint as against the proposed accused, who made a life threat. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition was filed. 3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the enquiry is pending due to non cooperation of the petitioner. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this petition, notice to the private respondent is dispensed with. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the second respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 25.06.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, after 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.(MD)No.4443 of 2026 affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
