ORAL ORDER
1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is present. None appears for the respondent.
2. After addressing the arguments for some time,
learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo. The said memo reads as under:
"The petitioner in the above case undertakes to pay the 50% of the balance cheque amount to the Respondent within 4(Four) months from this date of memo. The petitioner has already deposited 50% of the cheque amount before the trial court in view of this undertaking by the petitioner the above Revision Petition may be disposed of to meet the ends of Justice."
3. The memo is placed on record.
4. Taking note of the contents of the memo, the petition stands disposed of.
5. The amount in deposit is ordered to be withdrawn by the complainant, under due identification.

6. It is made clear that compensation amount as agreed in the memo is not paid, petitioner / accused shall undergo imprisonment as ordered by the trial Magistrate confirmed by the First Appellate Court.
