Shukla, A.P.P. ------ 03/ 16.04.2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chaibasa Sadar P.S. Case No. 98 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 17(b), 21(b) and 29 of NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement and he is nothing to do with the brown sugar. On this ground, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioner. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the serious allegations are there and even the petitioner is having similar type of criminal antecedent. 5. Considering that the matter is relating to the transaction of brown sugar and similar type of another case is also there against the petitioner and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, named above.
