He has arranged marriage for his daughter, which is scheduled to be conducted on 13.09.2026. Therefore, he has submitted a representation dated 05.08.2026 to the 4th respondent seeking 2/6 WP(MD). No.24002 of 2026 permission to withdraw Rs.4,80,000/- from his Provident Fund account for his daughter's marriage expenditure. However, the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to the respondents to permit him to withdraw the eligible amount from PF accumulation available to the credit of his PF Account No.1133, as per Rule 13(1)(d) of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) Ltd., within a stipulated time. 2. Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents and submits that due to financial constraint, the said amount has not been settled and it would be settled within a period of four weeks. 3. The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 05.08.2026 to the 4th respondent seeking to withdraw Rs.4,80,000/- from his Provident Fund account for her daughter's marriage expenditure. The petitioner is entitled for the same and it cannot be denied on the ground of financial constraint to the respondent corporation. The petitioner seeks the said amount for meeting out the expenditure of his daughter's 3/6 WP(MD). No.24002 of 2026 marriage. Therefore, it needs to be provided to the petitioner without any further delay. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed with a direction to the respondent Corporation to pay the eligible amount from his PF account, as per Rule 13(1)(d) of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) Limited within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
