ORDER This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner his labourers and the poultry farm situated in survey no.21/2, measuring an extent of 4 Acres and 96 cents at Vellore Village, Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, based on the petitioner's complaints in CSR No.1040 of 2026 dated 01.08.2026, so as to enable the petitioner to carry on his lawful poultry farming activities as well as repairs and rectification work as required by the authorities and to take necessary steps to clear the alleged health hazards and comply with the directions issued by the competent authorities, without any obstruction or interference from third parties, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that despite the petitioner having availed necessary permission from the District Pollution Control Board, the construction of the poultry farm is being continuously obstructed by certain authorities who have a hidden agenda to grab money from the petitioner, pursuant to which the petitioner is not able to continue his construction in terms of the permission obtained from the pollution control board.
3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the complaint is received and CSR No.1040 of 2026 was issued on 01.08.2026 and enquiry is pending onthe complaint.
4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is
directed to put the petitioner as well as the proposed accused on notice under Section 64 of BNSS and thereafter conduct an enquiry and ensure 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
WP CRL.(MD). No.4436 of 2026 the proper construction of the petitioner in terms of the order passed by the Pollution Control Board. The police is directed to afford necessary police protection on payment of necessary charges in terms of G.O(Ms)No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.
