ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records relating to impugned rejection order issued by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.67/Kaa.Aa/E/Kaa.Ni/Karur/2026, dated 27.07.2026, to quash the same and consequently directing the respondent to grant permission and police protection for Kadhiravan Kabaddi Association along with Karur Amateur Kabadi Federation to conduct Kabadi Tournament schedule to be held on 15.08.2026 and 16.08.2026 at Metumahanathapuram, Krishnarayapurak Taluk, Karur District within the period stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that they have aleady issued proceedings on 27.07.2026, rejecting the representation made by the petitioner stating that due 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.Crl.(MD)No.4530 of 2026 to the dispute between two parties, two F.I.Rs were registered last year and only on that basis, citing law and order issue, the second respondent rejected the petitioner's representation.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the above said two F.I.Rs are totally unconnected with the Kabadi tournament and that they had successfully conducted the event last year and also produced the photographs for the same, but the respondent without considering the same, has passed the impugned order.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai had issued a circular memorandum in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019 along with instructions to the Inspectors of Police throughout Tamil Nadu for consideration of applications seeking permission for conducting programme. Therefore, in view of the detailed circular and guidelines issued by the Director General of Police, the writ petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation to the respondent and on such representation, the respondent is hereby directed to consider the same positively and pass orders imposing necessary conditions based on the above said circular. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
