This Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to take necessary steps to deport the petitioners to their own country i.e Sri Lanka based on the judgment in C.C.No.51/2021 dated: 30.05.2024 which was passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rameswaram. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No. 22805 of 2026 4. The Writ Petition was heard for some time. It appears that the petitioner has not impleaded the necessary parties, who would be able to assist the Court in passing an appropriate order in this Writ Petition. Therefore, this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed. 5. However, liberty is given to the petitioners to file a fresh Writ Petition after impleading the necessary parties, namely, the Commissioner, Bureau of Immigration, under the provisions of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, the jurisdictional Police Station/Inspector of Police, Dhanushkodi, Ramanathapuram and the concerned officers of the Customs Department under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed, with the above liberty. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
