ORAL ORDER After addressing the arguments for some time, counsel for petitioner has filed a memo which reads as under.
“Under the instructions of the petitioner, the undersigned counsel, most respectfully submits that, the petitioner is ready to make the balance payment of Rs.40,000/- in two instalments. The 1st instalment of Rs.20,000/- will be paid on or before 15th April, 2026 and the IInd and final instalment will be paid on or before 15th May, 2026. The above submission may kindly be taken on record and the matter may kindly be disposed of taking note of the above undertaking.
It is prayed accordingly.”
2. Counsel for respondent has endorsed no objection on the memo.
3. Placing the memo on record, petition stands
disposed of.

4. Amount in deposit is ordered to be withdrawn by the complainant under due identification.
5. After payment of the entire compensation amount as agreed in the memo, sum of Rs.10,000/- imposed by the Trial Magistrate towards the defraying expenses of the State is set aside.
6. It is made clear that if the compensation amount as agreed in the memo is not paid, the petitioner shall undergo imprisonment as ordered by learned Trial Magistrate, confirmed by the First Appellate Court. Sd/- (V SRISHANANDA) JUDGE
