Since his request has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to disburse a sum of Rs.5 lakhs as loan from his Provident Fund Account within a stipulated time. 2. Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents and seeks for a short accommodation to get instructions. He submits that the petitioner has already availed a sum of 2/5 WP(MD). No.24003 of 2026 Rs.5 lakhs on 01.09.2025. 3. In view of the said submission, the respondents are directed to verify the petitioner's entitlement and disburse the eligible amount, if any due and payable to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
