ORDER The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and measure the petitioner's lands comprised in S.Nos.44/14 and 44/15 situated at Kadha Kinaru Village, Kadha Kinaru Post, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, to identify and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's land by fixing the necessary boundary stones/marks in accordance with law, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), who takes notice for the third respondent. Since no adverse order is going to be passed as against the private respondents, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.23410 of 2026 3.The petitioner claims right over the subject property under settlement deed executed by her sons dated 03.07.2026. Patta in the name of petitioner's son, Balan, in Patta No.197 and Mathavan in Patta No.198 have also been produced in the typed set of papers. She submitted a representation to the official respondents on 25.07.2026 seeking a survey of the subject property. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4. The learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 1 and 2, submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2026 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, private respondents 4 and 5, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties, if any. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.23410 of 2026 6.
