Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Balidih P.S. Case No. 39/2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 855/2025 and S.T. Case No. 287/2025 for the offence registered under Section 310(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita and charge has been framed under Section 310(2) and 317(3) of BNS, 2023, now said to have been pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Bokaro. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that although it is alleged that the petitioner has involvement in 17 cases, but as per his knowledge, he has been acquitted in 12 cases. 3. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer and has submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of the co- accused leading to recovery. 4. The status report reveals that as on 11.03.2026, all witnesses, except one, were already examined. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the trial is at fag end, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
