ORDER The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 368 days in filing the appeal against the order made in M.C.O.P.No.1295 of 2017, dated 02.04.2025 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Sub Court dealing with M.C.O.P., Cases, Tirunelveli.
2.Considering the reasons assigned and also taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to allow the petition, but on terms. Hence, this petition will be allowed on payment of cost of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Thousand only) by the petitioner, to the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court Advocates Welfare Fund [Indian Bank High Court Branch, Madurai, Current Account No.7087208431, IFSC IDIBI000H040], within in period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the petition shall stand dismissed automatically.
