When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not submitted any application for survey of the property situated in Survey No.386/6. Therefore, he is not pressing the prayer in respect of the said survey number. 3. The learned counsel further submits that the property in Survey No.387/1 was purchased by the petitioner's grandmother, namely, Chinnathal, from one Periyaiah, and now the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. The petitioner submitted an application on 01.08.2026 seeking a survey of the property. The said application has not been considered. Mrs.Porkodi Karnan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 1 to 3, submits that the petitioner's application will be considered in accordance with the law. 5. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to direct respondent 2 and 3 to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 01.08.2026 and pass final orders on the same on its own merits within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the 4th respondent, the legal heirs of Chinnathal, and other interested parties. The petitioner is directed to furnish the details of the legal heirs of Chinnathal to the second respondent within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
