This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner's peaceful possession or evict the occupants from a portion of the larger extent of 2 acres and 46 cents comprised in Survey Nos.1223/1B and 1223/4B, situated at Vathrairuppu, Maharajapuram Village, Virudhunagar District, and consequently, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2026. 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P(MD)No.22786 of 2026 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the aforesaid property and that he has submitted a representation dated 06.08.2026 before the respondents seeking protection of their possession. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if this Court issues a direction to the competent authority to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2026 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and disposed of by the competent authority, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

There shall be no
order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
