ORDER The present petition has been filed by First Accused in Crime No. 147 of 2026, on the file of the First respondent police seeking quash the FIR wherein he is charged with the offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 351(2), 303 of BNS, 2023 & Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of SC/ST Act.
2. Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the FIR.
3. Today, the defacto complainant is present before this Court and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quasing of the F.I.R as against the petitioner and the other accused persons in Crime No. 147 of 2026.
4. Considering the above said facts, F.I.R in Crime No. 147 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police is hereby quashed in entirety 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
Crl.O.P.(MD).No.17219 of 2026 against all the accused persons.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
