Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the convict prisoner was earlier granted 21 days ordinary leave without escort and ____________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.(MD) No.4526 of 2026 in due compliance of the conditions imposed by this Court, he had returned to the prison within the time limit. 3. Learned counsel for State of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the convict prisoner, on the earlier occasion, stayed in Palladam. He would further submit that the victim is staying in a hostel and during weekends, she comes to her sister's house, which is located in Jaihindpuram Police Limits. 4. Taking into consideration that the petitioner's father was earlier granted 21 days ordinary leave without escort and he had complied with the conditions imposed on him, we are inclined to issue the following directions: (i) The respondents are directed to grant three days emergency leave, without escort, to the convict prisoner, namely, Basheer Ahamed Khan, son of Abdul Raheem Khan, C.P.No.6080 (PID: No.322742), who is now detained in the Central Prison, Madurai. (ii) During the leave period, the convict prisoner shall report before the Avaniapuram Police Station, Madurai District, daily at 06.30 p.m. ____________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.(MD) No.4526 of 2026 (iii) During the emergency leave period, the convict prisoner shall not enter into the jurisdiction limits of Jaihindpuram Police Station and Anna Nagar Police Station. (v) During the leave period, the convict prisoner shall abide by all the conditions prescribed in the Jail Manual. 5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
