No.22403 of 2026 2. With consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3. The petitioner was appointed as Casualty Medical Officer on 31.03.2015. Thereafter, she was posted as Senior Resident in Emergency Medicine at Government Medical College Hospital, Virudhunagar vide the proceedings dated 15.04.2024. In view of the said posting of the petitioner, she was not allowed to participate in the transfer counselling for two years and it is on completion of the said period of two years, the petitioner claims to have submitted a representation dated 28.07.2026 requesting for her transfer to Tirunelveli on the ground that her minor daughter is suffering from Type I Diabetes Mellitus, which is stated to be a lifelong condition requiring continuous insulin therapy, etc. As the said representation is not considered by the respondent, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. 4. Mr.C.Jeganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent fairly submitted that the respondent would consider the same in accordance with law. 2/4 WP(MD). No.22403 of 2026 5. In the light of the above, without going into merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent herein to consider the representation date 28.07.2026 submitted by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
