The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the communication dated:21.04.2025 issued by the second respondent vide Annexure-A and writ of Mandamus directing respondents 2 and 3 to restore the electricity connection having R.R.No.MSN9EH24482 to the schedule property to the petitioner forthwith. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the papers with care. 4. Suffice it to note that the BESCOM authorities issued a communication to the petitioner. Counsel Sri.S.Rajashekar., in presenting his argument submits that the appeal is filed before the Competent Authority regarding the alleged violation by the petitioner and the same is pending as of today. Hence, he submits that an suitable order may be passed. Counsel Sri.C.Channe Gowda., submits that a detailed statement of objections is filed and the same may be taken note of. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8288 WP No. 13921 of 2025 5. Taking note of the pendency of the appeal, this Court deems it proper to dispose of this petition by quashing Annexure-A and also directing the BESCOM authorities not to precipitate the matter for disconnection of the power supply to the petitioner's premises till the adjudication of the appeal before the Competent Authority. 6. The Writ of Certiorari is ordered. The communication dated:21.04.2025 issued by the second respondent vide Annexure-A is quashed.
