Consideration sought in the present appeal is to the judgment passed by the learned Single Judge, in Civil Writ Petition No. 3540 of 2024, titled as Lal Chand VS. H.P. State Electricity Board Ltd., dated
30.04.2024.
2. The learned Single Judge allowed the writ petition on the ground that in CWP No. 2108 of 2023, 1 Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 titled as Bhagat Ram Vs. HRTC & others, decided on 31.05.2023 and CWP No. 2421 of 2023, titled as Amar Chand Vs. HRTC & others, decided on 15.06.2023, similar relief had been granted.
3. It is pertinent to mention here that the respondent had been duly served for 09.04.2026, but nobody had put in appearance on his behalf. Even today, nobody appeared for him. Resultantantly, we proceed to decide the appeal in his absence.
4. It is not disputed that the Division Bench has recalled the order in Bhagat Ram’s case (supra) on 30.08.2024 and now the matter is pending before the Co-ordinate Bench. Similarly, Amar Chand (supra) was also based on Bhagat Ram’s case
5. Keeping in view the above, in LPA No. 109 of 2024, titled as State of Himachal Pradesh & another Vs. Roshan Lal Khajuria & another and other connected matters, decided on 11.05.2025, we have also allowed the appeals and restored the writ petitions to be heard alongwith CWP No. 2108 of 2023.

6. Resultantly, the present appeal is also allowed and the writ petition is restored to its original number to be heard alongwith CWP No. 2108 of 2023.
7. Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of alongwith pending application(s), if any.
