Despite respondent counsel having entered appearance, there is no representation on behalf of the respondent. Even when the matter was called for hearing yesterday i.e., on 05.08.2026, there was no representation on behalf of the respondent and even today there is no representation on the side of the respondent. I have proceeded to hear the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. The petitioner is the wife, who has been arrayed as respondent in FCOP.No.69 of 2026 before the Family Court, Vellore. The petitioner is the resident of Karur district and she expresses inconvenience to attend the proceedings at Family Court, Vellore. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the petition seeking transfer of FCOP.No.69 of 2026 from the file of Family Court, Vellore to the file of the Family Court, Karur. Till date, the respondent has not even objected to the request of transfer by filing a counter affidavit as well. Therefore, the inconvenience expressed by the petitioner wife is acceptable. 4. In the light of the above, I am inclined to allow the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition. Accordingly, the case in FCOP.No.69 of 2026 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Vellore, and transferred to the file of the Family Court at Karur. The Family Court, Vellore shall transmit the entire records to the file of the Family Court, Karur at the earliest. There shall be no order as to costs.
