The instant application is filed for impleading the Treasury Officer, Lakhimpur, Assam as party respondent No. 10 in the connected WP(C)/2851/2025. 3. The applicant has prayed for such impleadment on the ground that although the Pension Payment Order was issued by the Commandant 15th AP(IR) Bn, Eraligool, Sribhumi, Assam to the Treasury Office, Lakhimpur, but no response is forthcoming from the said office since March, 2026. It is also submitted by Ms. Dutta, learned counsel for the applicant that although the applicant had approached the said office, but no response was given by them and as such, a prayer is made for impleading the Treasury Officer, Lakhimpur, Assam as party respondent No. 10 in the connected WP(C)/2851/2025, for proper adjudication of the same. 4. In the said facts and circumstances of the case, this Court has felt it necessary that the Treasury Officer, Lakhimpur be impleaded as party respondent No. 10 in the connected WP(C)/2851/2025, for his response. 5.
